Have you been following the 12-week Niche Store Builder series I blogged
about a month ago?
I have…sort of.
I mean that I’ve been following the blog posts, watching the excellent videos and making changes to my existing store as much as possible. I haven’t completed every step.
The one I am most guilty of is not setting up multiple sites and trying to establish a routine that can be repeated over and over. This is my fault but let me explain.
When I first got BANS I didn’t realize that it was going to be more of a numbers game than I was prepared for. It is obvious from the 12 week course that your main goal is to set up multiple sites quickly and then go back to them to make incremental changes over the course of several weeks.
Well, I am new to internet marketing and it seems that everything takes me five times longer than it must take a seasoned pro. For this reason, having 10 or 20 or 50 BANS sites would be completely overwhelming to me.
Don’t get me wrong, the 12 week course blog posts, videos and resources have been excellent. I only get a little miffed when the guy on the video creates a new header graphic for his store right before my eyes when I know it will take me at least an hour to even come close.
That’s just lack of experience and it WILL come.
What am I going to do?
I am going to continue to follow the blogs and videos and make the changes to my store. When the program is over I’m going to begin researching and setting up other BANS stores. I’ll take what I’ve learned from my first store and apply it to the next ones.
What about you?
Please leave me a comment below and let me know how you are doing with your BANS store(s) and/or the 12 week series. I’d really like to hear from people who have followed this series and how it’s going for them.

I also have been following Marks blog religiously.
I am a bit in the same boat as you. I can get a bans store up and running in about 30 mins including the reserach and graphic header.
I alway put a hit counter right at the bottom to easily check on hits.
The area of confusion for me is where to actually start a routine process of getting the links and how to do articles etc. The blog gets a bit scattered and loses it continuity there.
If anyone has a clear promtion plan suggestion I would be very keen on seeing it.
I have put a mention in news groups and also in Craigs list and received some income and hits but of course they don’t last long.
So there you are. I am having great fun though and am earning about 100 a month from about 10 sites and adsense.

Phil,
Thanks for your comments.
Your question is mine exactly-could somebody please make me a list?
Like you, I’m enjoying Mark’s series but who has time to watch and try some stuff and watch, etc.
I’m not talking about the 12 week outline either.
If they are going to claim that I can rip through one of these in an hour they need to show me how.
Just my thoughts.
Congratulations on your 10 sites.
Jeff
