Rebuilding Ebay Sites With CompariPress
As I mentioned in my previous post about Dumping The EPN Network, I’m going to be making some radical changes to my affiliate sites. For the sites that are dragging down my earnings per click in the Ebay Partner Network, I’ll be either be abandoning them(possibly for sale on Flippa) or converting them to Amazon, Overstock, LinkShare or Commission Junction affiliate sites. The tool I’ve found to help me do the latter is the CompariPress price comparison plugin for WordPress from the Affiliate Wizard.
This plugin will allow me to put comparison listings from different networks right on each review page so the visitors have a chance to check out the deals offered by multiple merchants. This is going to be a win-win for me.
First of all, I’ll be able to eliminate the campaigns that aren’t stellar from the EPN network and stop the assault on my overall earnings that these are causing.
Secondly, I’ll get commissions I really deserve on my higher end sites rather than being stuck in the muck and mire of the EPN quality click pricing debacle. For instance, I sold an almost $1700.00 item yesterday on EPN and my EPC barely budged. On Amazon, even at the lowest commission level, I would have made almost $70.00 from that one transaction.
Hmmm…let me see…which choice would you make?

The Comparipress plugin is a great tool for transforming your plain merchant product listings to a price comparison portal. More choices mean higher conversions.

i think im about to do this with many of my sites.. my epc just keeps dropping each month and this is the final straw… my adsense is starting to blow away my EPN earnings. hopefully comparipress can help save some of my sites.

Probably the biggest impact on my earnings has been to produce keyword-targeted quality content for the readers of my various sites. I can honestly say that the big deal Google update has BOOSTED traffic to all of my sites. In some cases just a little but overall none have been reduced. I’m not talking about writing posts for robots. I mean once you find a topic your readers are interested in it is in your best interest to run some keywords for the title and body through the Google keyword tool and finding the ones with decent traffic and competition. That way, you can build a web of posts on your site whose traffic all adds up to good numbers. Then you can work on ranking for the top keywords your site is about.
