Being relatively new to internet marketing I’m always running into things that I need to know that I haven’t a clue about.
Recently, it was trackback links.
I had a vague understanding that they were a way to notify a blog or web site owner that you had were referencing them in one of your posts. Hopefully, it was a reference that could help both of you.
I posted to my favorite forum-Lynn Terry’s Self-Starters Weekly Tips forum-and got a response from Teli Adlam, the owner of the Optiniche blog.

Even though I’ve only been working on internet marketing for a little over three months, I have come to a realization a lot seasoned pros would back me up on.
I can’t try to make money using ten different systems at once and have ANY success with them!!!
All I will get will be ten incomplete, hurried, insincere projects that leave me worn out, disillusioned and BROKE.
For this reason, I would like to take a couple of minutes to commiserate with my newbie friends and give my thoughts on how we should proceed.

I was very excited when a friend of mine bought me an early Christmas of the Build A Niche Store, or BANS as it more commonly referred to in internet marketing circles.
Why was I juiced about it?
This product promised to be able to get you set up in a short time with a site that would act as a highly-targeted storefront to whatever hot category you selected from ebay. You would be providing an excellent means for people looking for a specific item or group of items to come to a site that could give them information they needed to make informed buying decisions and then give them one-click access to the eBay.com network.

There I was…trying one affiliate program and then another. Trying to follow-through with what I started while not exactly knowing what I was doing.
I would buy an info product, read it and do my best to follow the instructions given. Being into internet marketing from my ebay store only a few months, I was getting frustrated because I didn’t know why I was doing anything or how it fit together.
