Has this ever happened to you?
You’re at lunch. You know that you need to post to your blog today but the “inspiration” for that great idea hasn’t hit you yet. You know that the harder you try to come up with something the more elusive it is. So you let it go and just enjoy your short time away from your computer.
And then-you get it! The idea doesn’t overwhelm you but you feel fairly certain that it has the makings of a solid entry if you could just air it out for a bit at your desk.

As we start working on our goals for 2008 it’s easy to get so excited about moving our plans forward that we may forget some of the things we did in 2007 that detracted from our progress.
One of the the biggest of these is time wasters.
They make take several forms and may even disguise themselves as “research” or “background” or “experience” but they really aren’t any of these. What they are is frustrating, attitude-destroying, daily goal-crushing, time management twilight zones and here’s three ways you know when you’re caught in one.
